I’ll post about our costumes tomorrow, when I’ve had time to get some photos off the camera (or possibly force the children to pose in the better light we’re sure to have in the morning–they’re both sleeping in their costumes, so it should be easy).

Sam just had a night terror, the first in ages (I want to say it’s been something like a year and a half). It woke Grace up–that’s a first. When I finally figured out what it was (I am slow) I fixed it the only way that has ever worked. He gulped down milk for about 30 seconds, then settled in against me, back to real sleep.

You know how people say trite things about wishing they could take their child’s pain/anxiety/fear/whatever as their own?
