So, Dunkin Donuts just pulled a television ad because it might be offensive. The reason? Rachael Ray, who stars in the ad, wears a scarf.
YES I AM SERIOUS. Apparently some fucking waste of breathe at Fox News thought it looked like a keffiyeh, the head scarf worn by ARAB MEN OMG.

My work colleague here is muslim (totally British but his family are of asian origin) and he is very cool. His wife is from LA, and we often take the piss telling him we are gonna call the authorities and tell them he is a terrorist if he ever tries to have a week off work again. Our company would have fallen apart if everyone stopped talking to him after 9/11.

Incidentally, when I first heard about Rachael Ray and how everybody hates her, I just shrugged it off, because I figured I don’t really watch television, so I won’t ever have to learn what makes her so apparently annoying.
BUT. All of a sudden she was just … everywhere. If I did turn on the television, it was one of her commercials. If I pick up a magazine, if I walk in a store, on the bus, on the radio, now the internet! Everywhere! I feel like I can’t get away from her, and now I’m like, “Oh my God, Rachael Ray, now I know why everyone fucking hates you!!“
I thought I was the only one who hates Rachel Ray! I had no idea I was part of a phenomenon. Huh.
