Lovely pictures! Looks like everyone is having a wonderful time – the table looks beautiful (I thought my family was the only one to actually take a picture of the table all set). Has your son gotten to play in fall leaves before? (yes, my ignorance of all things LA, including climate, is showing) There’s nothing like it – the fall leaves, not my ignorance, although it can be astounding at times :) Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Oh, and did you take pictures of the bad parts?
We get some fallen dry leaves but nothing like that. We don’t have the glorious color changes and the piles of leaves to jump in (or the walk through, which was Sam’s preferred way of playing in them). It is perhaps the only thing I miss about living in the Northeast.
There are no pictures of the bad parts (though there are plenty of bad pictures), but the idea made me laugh and laugh.
Oh, Sam’s sweater looks lovely! And it looks like you had a wonderful time. Plus…Lincoln Logs!!! Possibly my favourite toy from my childhood.
The picture of the Thanksgiving table looks like it came out of a Hallmark ad. Wow! After we piled up our disposable plates, we sat in the living room and watched TV while we ate. And Sam looks like he’s having the time of his life.
Awesome – the good parts are what you want pictures of, the bad parts are what you will tell stories about and embellish all to hell. :D
Mmmm, I’m looking at the food and thinking Mmmmm! And Sam looks wonderful as well.
Thank you for sharing Annika! Your baby boy is just beautiful! (and growing so fast)
1. Your hair looks so long! It’s cute!
2. What nice pictures! I’m glad you had a great time. Goodness all around!
These photos are lovely. You have a beautiful family. Since I’ve been hating on Los Angeles lately, I have to give props to my street which is filled with Autumn leaves and if I squint in the right direction I can almost see New England (and so goes the story of my childhood–at least the good part).
Look at how CUTE you all are!
OMG! That sweater! I totally forgot about it until I saw the picture and was blown away by it again! Nice work, dear.
