Flash Fiction Friday

I am thinking about writing a 55 word story every week. I might not commit to it, because that would be the best way to guarantee that I’d punk out on you all within a week or two. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the two stories I wrote in November. And I never did write a third, which I meant to so that I could use “Ol’ 55” as my song title. So I am putting it to a vote: should I make my short-shorts a weekly feature?

In the meantime, please enjoy this charming story that someone else wrote. The site was linked to by Miss Snark.

How ’bout bi-monthly, or at least once a month?

I really enjoyed your two stories and if you think you can manage once a week, I would love it.

I liked your short stories, too. I vote for Regular Feature. Not too committal, but enough to tell yourself, “It’s been a couple weeks, I should write another one.” Or “I just wrote one, but I’ve got a great idea so I’ll write it anyway.”

Well, if you are like me then making a specific category for it will then prompt the regularity of it as I hate unused categories.

But please note, I’m rather insane.

And also note, I would like to read these shorts.

    *snigger* Shorts.

I second Amanda’s suggestion of “Regular Feature”. There’s fiction, but no pressure.

Another vote for “Regular Feature”. I await the next short…

Ooo! I just had a great idea, inspired entirely by my continual mis-reading of “Flash Fiction” as “Slash Fiction”. Could you do an occasional “Slash Flash”? We could all help. [evil]

I’m with Amanda on this one. Don’t feel pressured, but by all means get that story hat on!

Thank you for pointing into my humble flash fiction.
Congratulations on your baby, and hope Sam grows up as good-looking and smart as his mother. (Didn’t see any daddy pictures so I’ll leave it at that! lol).
You could do bi-weekly…as long as you don’t wait until the very last minute, I think is a good exersice to keep the mind in shape for longer tales.
