In other news, we’ve just been to a screening of The Proposition, which was almost exactly like watching a Nick Cave album (in the good and the bad ways).
Today for work I played around on sites devoted to comedy and Lego. This is what I get paid to do. Can you believe it?
My obsession with diapers is getting out of hand. Today I picked up the poo pockets (that is what they are really called) I won on ebay. I squealed a lot and then went off to investigate the options in wipe warmers (I’m using cloth wipes too).
BORING AWESOME!
Wipe warmers? I’ve never heard of such things (I’ll be using cloth wipes too – the disposable wet wipes you buy upset *my* skin, so I can’t imagine they’d be a good idea for my baby). I’m intrigued. I learn so many interesting things reading this diary.
I heard about them fairly recently and am quite skeptical about the necessity. I mean, they’re for home use…where I have a warm water tap. I did see a little packet for the diaper bag that has an insert you microwave before you go out, and that sounds like it could be handy. I’ll post links when I have a better idea what’s out there.

Warm wipes help with sticky newborn breastmilk poo removal. Warm for some reason helps.
Wipes warmers are pretty cheap and easy, I could mail you mine if you want it since Maya has grown out of it…

Yeah, I really wouldn’t have guessed anything like perineal massage because I don’t think you’d've been so coy about having done it. I think maybe it was industry-related stuff?
