The Literary United States

I really like this literary map of the USA, but I am having some trouble accepting anyone other than Willa Cather for Nebraska–even Rainbow Rowell, whose novels I love a LOT. Of course, Cather represents the building of Nebraska, while Rowell represents modern-day Nebraska.

    I absolutely 100% agree with New Hampshire (John Iriving’s A Prayer for Owen Meany) and am thrilled that a Betsy-Tacy book made the list for Minnesota.
