Sorry, Internet, I can’t jump on the bandwagon of criticizing 19-year-old Miley Cyrus for getting engaged to her boyfriend of three years. I was 19 when I married Will (the first time) and we’d only been together for three weeks.

Love it! I met my DH when I was 16 (although it took us much longer to get married) so I also can’t bad mouth a relationship started young! I would think hollywood rather than age is going to be a much bigger problem for them!

We got engaged after four weeks of dating, and got married five month later. And it’s been 12 years… :)
Yup. My brother-in-law must’ve been 19 when they got engaged, because he was only 20 when he married my sister. It was 8 years last month.
